After School Clubs
After School Clubs & Workshops
Interest in Chinese culture and its language has grown rapidly and is now becoming main stream as an extracurricular activity in schools. In cooperation with local junior and secondary schools, we have designed Ni Hao Clubs which offers Mandarin Chinese Taster classes and workshops, or even after school clubs.

Barnet Summer Uni 2008-28 July -15 August
We are in partnership with Barnet Council to run some of our workshops and classes are FREE of charge as a pioneering new incentive for children to enroll on new and varied programmers during summer.
The Mandarin Chinese Taster workshops
The aims of the workshops are to develop the ability to use basic Mandarin and an awareness of the culture and customs of China. Learners will be able to use Mandarin to introduce themselves, go shopping, count numbers and talk about their bodies. The CD album--Sounds Like Chinese! Look Like Chinese! -- were produced as a tangible evidence of their learning achievement.
Fun Chinese Workshop- Chinese Art & Craft, Kung fu & Chinese Dance
These workshops not only enhance the interest in children about learning something new but also teach them activities of creativity and keep fit healthy learning skills. Our experience during the Summer University sessions has been very positive and children really enjoyed and enquired where they can continue such workshops. It is a great taster to the culture and an interest in new environment of learning skills and developing an interest about the culture and language.
Ni Hao Clubs
These clubs are run in cooperation with local Junior and Secondary schools. They run for 40-50 minutes and can be set up to run before school, during lunch breaks or after school. Please contact us for more information. We are able to tailor make the clubs to suit the needs of your school and the children. It is entirely at the discretion and requirement of the school to advice what content and strength of learning Mandarin language.
We can also organise workshops as explained previously which can be new activities to be introduced at your school and a fun way of getting their creative imagination flowing. Anything innovative is a great way to introducing something new to the children & adults alike.
In 2008, we are please to offer the after school clubs in the following schools
St. Michael's Catholic Grammar School
Copthall School
Rokesly Junior School
