Examination courses
The exam fees are not included in the enrolment fee. Please contact the examinations officer for an estimate of cost (based on last year's charges).
REFUND POLICY:
FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EXCEPT IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:
- If a class is closed within three weeks of the beginning of term due to insufficient enrolments, or for reasons beyond our control, when a pro-rata refund will be given.
- Medical reasons (medical certificate required). A refund will only be given for illness which necessitates an absence of more than three consecutive weeks from a class. Please note that applications for refunds will only be accepted if they are received in the term during which the student withdraws.
- If due to circumstances beyond our control, a teacher leaves part of the way through a course and a suitable replacement is found, the course will continue and refunds will not be given.
Refunds will be made only on return of your enrolment receipt. Please keep your receipt throughout your course and take it to your first three classes. Your teacher may refuse you a place in the class if you fail to show it.
NB Other than in the case of class closure, an administrative charge of £20 will be made.
TRANSFERS
If you wish to transfer from one course to another, you may be able to do so subject to availability and permission of the class teacher. The transfer must be made within the same term. Where a transfer is made to a less expensive course, we cannot refund any difference in the fees.
STUDENT ABSENCES
Please note that if a student does NOT attend the class for three consecutive weeks without notifying us of the reasons for the absence, you are liable to be withdrawn from the course, and your place may be offered to a new student.
HEALTH AND SAFETY AND COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
The school is strongly opposed to discrimination and bullying. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated. The school aims to teach, stimulate, amuse and care for every child during class. If you have a complaint, please be assured you can speak in confidence to: the teacher, the course coordinator and the administrator.
We strongly recommend that parents with children under eight remain on the premises in case of emergency.
ADMISSION TO CLASSES & COURSE ALTERATIONS
We reserve the right to refuse admission, change the teacher or venue, or where there are insufficient enrolments, to close a course or alter the course length.
Other than with the agreement of the Principal, students will not be admitted to classes without payment of the fee.
