Communities Team invites our students , parents and tutors to a free special view of the spectacular exhibition "Babylon". This fascinating exhibition will explore both the archaeology of Babylon (605-562BC) and its height of power during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar II and the rich legacy in modern art and thought inspired by the city.
We have booked the 22nd February 2009. The private view will start at 09.00 in the morning and finish at 10.00 (last entry at 09.30) Student must book in advance by contacting me.
I also want to combine this trip with a visit to the Shanghai exhibition. Treasures from Shanghai Museum. Shanghai Museum is one of the leading museums in China and holds the finest collection of ancient Chinese bronzes and bronzes.
